IBC totes in
Austin.

Austin is home base. The Montopolis yard sits in the industrial pocket between the airport, the river and the old Del Valle line — close enough to downtown that a brewery on East 6th can run over on a lunch break, and close enough to 71 and 130 that a flatbed can be in Bastrop or Buda inside half an hour.

Our yard is at 3505 Montopolis Dr in southeast Austin, roughly six minutes from the Highway 71 / Ben White interchange. Austin customers can pick up the same day during yard hours, or take a next-day delivery anywhere inside Loop 1 / SH-130.

Because we grade and wash on site, Austin buyers get the widest selection in the state on any given morning: food-grade stock in the covered bay, general Grade A and B on the north rack, and jobsite C-grade in the back row. What you see in the yard is what ships.

We also run the densest buy-back network here. If you are an Austin brewery, coffee roaster, sauce producer, distributor or contractor sitting on empty totes, we will usually collect them within a week and put credit on your account rather than let them go to the transfer station.

Austin questions

+Can I come look at the totes before I buy?
Yes, and we prefer it for first-time buyers. Come during yard hours, walk the rows, and pick your own units. Grading is honest but subjective — seeing them settles it.
+Do you deliver to Dripping Springs, Manor and Buda?
Yes, all part of the standard Austin metro route at no additional trip charge above 4 units.

+What is your minimum order?
None for yard pickup. For delivery, small orders ride our consolidated routes with a modest freight line, and above about four totes it's usually absorbed into the unit price.
+Can I clean a tote myself?
For non-critical uses, yes — a proper three-stage rinse with agitation and full drain between stages does a lot. For food service, no: you need documented parameters and a caustic clean-in-place, which is what our W4 standard is for.
+Do you ship outside Texas?
Occasionally into Louisiana, Oklahoma and New Mexico on volume orders. Further than that, a yard closer to you usually beats us on freight and we'll say so.
+How often does an IBC need retesting?
Leakproofness testing every 2.5 years and full requalification every 5 years under 49 CFR 180.352. The test date must be marked on the container.
+How much are my empties worth?
It depends mostly on cage condition and prior contents. A straight cage with a rinsed bottle and a readable UN plate carries the best value. A stained bottle in a folded cage is worth its material recovery.
