Getting here

Finding the yard

Montopolis Drive runs south from Riverside Drive toward the old Del Valle line, through the industrial pocket between the airport and the Colorado River. We are on the east side, behind a gated entrance, with the yard visible from the road.

  • From Highway 71 / Ben White: exit Montopolis and head north. About six minutes.
  • From I-35: take Riverside east, then south on Montopolis. About twelve minutes from downtown.
  • From SH-130: west on 71, then north on Montopolis. Convenient from Bastrop, Manor and the eastern build-out.
  • From ABIA: under ten minutes. Genuinely practical if you are in town for the day.

Tractor-trailers have room to turn inside the gate. If you are arriving with a gooseneck or a 48-foot flatbed, come in the main entrance rather than the side gate.

Questions people actually ask

+Why is there no phone number?
Because we tried it and the work got worse. Verbal commitments made on a loud yard get remembered differently by both parties, and whoever answered rarely had eyes on the stock. Email means every quote, grade and date is in writing, and the person replying can walk out and look first.
+How quickly will I hear back?
Same business day for anything sent before mid-afternoon. After hours and weekends get answered the next working morning.
+Do I need an appointment to visit?
No. Come during yard hours, walk the rows and pick your own units. Sending the form first means your stock is pulled and staged before you arrive, which usually saves half an hour.
+Can I pick up on a Saturday?
Yes, Saturday mornings 8 a.m. to noon. It's our busiest window for single-unit and small-order pickups, so allow a little extra time.
+What should I bring to collect totes?
A truck or trailer that takes a 48 × 40 inch pallet, ratchet straps, and closed-toe shoes. We load with a forklift at no charge.

Coverage
68 Texas counties on scheduled routes, from one Austin yard.

+Do you buy used totes?
Yes — it's half the business. Anywhere in Texas, from a handful behind a brewery to several hundred on a chemical yard. Send photos and prior contents and we'll price them the same day.
+What are standard IBC tote dimensions?
48 inches long by 40 inches wide — one standard pallet position — with height varying by capacity: 46 in for 275 gallons, 53 in for 330, 56 in for 350.
+How do I tell if a used tote is sound?
Check five points: cage welds at the base corners, the bottle around the outlet, the valve seat, the lid gasket and the pallet feet. Those account for nearly every problem we see at intake. The 48-point inspection checklist covers the systematic version.
+Can I inspect before buying?
Yes, and we encourage it for first-time buyers. Yard hours, walk the rows, pick your own units. Grading is honest but it's still a judgement — seeing the stock settles every question at once.
+How much does a used IBC tote cost?
Used composite IBCs in Texas run from the low hundreds for rough jobsite stock up to most of the price of a new unit for documented food-grade or rebottled containers. Grade moves the price more than anything else — often by a factor of four across the same size.
