We collect the fields you submit through our request form — name, email, phone, company, location, quantity, product type, service, grade and message — plus the page URL you sent it from. What we collect

Information you send us

When you submit a request form, we receive: first name, last name, city, state or province, postal code, email address, phone number, company, message, quantity, product type, selected service, grade preference, and the URL of the page you submitted from. Only first name, last name, postal code, email, phone, quantity, product type and service are required; the rest are optional.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider records standard server logs — IP address, user agent, request path and timestamp — for security, abuse prevention and operational diagnostics. These logs are not linked to form submissions and are retained for a short operational period.

What we do not collect

  • No advertising or behavioural tracking cookies
  • No third-party analytics scripts
  • No social media pixels or embedded trackers
  • No fingerprinting
  • No payment card data on this website

Why we process it

  • To reply to your request and prepare a quote
  • To fulfil and deliver an order you place
  • To arrange collection of containers you are selling us
  • To keep records required for tax, warranty and compliance purposes
  • To prevent abuse of our forms

We do not use your details for unsolicited marketing. If we ever start a mailing list, it will be opt-in and separate from this.

Who it is shared with

Only where necessary to do the work:

  • Our lead management provider, which receives and stores form submissions on our behalf.
  • Our hosting provider, which serves this website and holds server logs.
  • Carriers, where a delivery requires your name, address and site contact details.
  • Professional advisers and authorities, where we are legally required to disclose.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Any cookies present are strictly functional — for example, a session identifier used when submitting a form. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not become orders: up to 24 months
  • Order records: 7 years, for tax and warranty purposes
  • Wash and compliance records tied to a shipment: 7 years
  • Server logs: short operational retention only

Your rights

Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, including the right to know what we hold, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to obtain a portable copy. Residents of other states and countries may have equivalent rights. We apply the same process to everyone regardless of where you are.

To exercise any of these, email info@ibctotestexas.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. We will respond within 45 days, usually far sooner. We may need to verify that the request comes from you before acting on it.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS with a strict content security policy. Form submissions are transmitted to our lead system server-side; the API credentials are never exposed to your browser. Access to submitted data is limited to staff who need it to do the work.

Children

This is an industrial supply website. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update this page. Because we collect so little, substantive changes are unlikely.

+Why did my tote collapse inward?
Vacuum. You pumped liquid out faster than air could get in through a sealed lid. Fit a vented lid or crack the existing one before pumping.
+What does 31HA1/Y mean?
Composite IBC for liquids (31), plastic inner receptacle (H), steel outer casing (A), category 1, approved for Packing Group II and III materials (Y).
+What about totes with product still in them?
Rinsed and drained only. We are not a hazardous waste disposal facility and cannot accept regulated waste. If your totes still hold product, you need a licensed disposal contractor.
+How high can I stack totes?
Empty, three high indoors on a level floor. Full and static, two high on matched pallets and improved level ground. In transit, never stack full totes.
+What about allergen control?
Washing reduces residue; it does not certify absence. If you produce allergen-free product, rebottle and dedicate the units rather than relying on a wash. No honest reconditioner will give you an allergen-free guarantee on a reused bottle.
